Abstract:

With Xe+La energy scan, NA61/SHINE Collaboration completed its initial measurement campaingn aimed at localizing the critical point and studying the Onset of Deconfinement. The current goal is to measure open charm production at SPS energies. The contributoin summarizes past successes, current struggles and future challenges of the charm measurements at NA61/SHINE.
