Abstract:
We study photon-hadron Transverse Energy-Energy Correlators (TEEC) and azimuthal correlation in the forward rapidity region for pp and pPb collisions, in light of the planned detector upgrades at high luminosity LHC. The computation is based on the hybrid kT factorization, implemented at parton level in KaTie , supplemented by initial and final state radiation as well as hadronization via CASCADE. Both TEEC and correlation distributions show a significant suppression in pPb compared to pp, signalling the potential of TEEC as an observable for saturation studies.
