DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nWe study the Drell-Yan structure functions within
  the $k_T$-factorization framework\, with particular emphasis on the Lam-T
 ung relation. We consider two scattering channels at the tree level\, domi
 nated by gluon contributions (two off-shell gluons scattering and valence 
 quark - off-shell gluon scattering). Within this approach\, we probe vario
 us gluon transverse momentum distribution (TMD) models and compare the res
 ults with the ATLAS data. We observe that the Drell-Yan structure function
 s distinguish between the chosen TMD models\, and in particular\, that a r
 easonably good description of the Lam-Tung relation can be achieved within
  this formalism for some of the considered TMD models.\n\n \nImportant: T
