dr Grzegorz Żarnecki (IFJ PAN): Neutrino oscillations at T2K and NOvA
→
Europe/Warsaw
Description
Abstract:
For more than a decade, the long-baseline neutrino experiments T2K in Japan and NOvA in the USA independently measured neutrino and antineutrino oscillations. Their results show a tension in the inferred CP-violating phase: T2K excludes CP conservation at 90% confidence level, while NOvA favors values close to CP conservation. Last year, the irst joint T2K–NOvA analysis combining data from both experiments was published in Nature.
Important: This seminar is held in building D-11 room 104.
