DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n \nUltraperipheral collisions at the LHC provide a
clean environment for studying photon-induced interactions\, with exclusi
ve final states playing a central role in many measurements. However\, add
itional electromagnetic interactions can accompany the primary process\, l
eading to electromagnetic dissociation of the colliding ions and the produ
ction of secondary hadrons when the exchanged photon energy is sufficientl
y high. The resulting hadronic activity can enter the detector acceptance
and cause genuine signal events to fail the exclusivity requirements. The
impact of this effect is investigated for representative two-photon and ph
otonuclear processes.\n \nImportant: This seminar is held in building D
 -11 room 104. \n\nhttps://indico.fis.agh.edu.pl/event/489/
