dr inż. Mateusz Dyndał (AGH UST): Evidence for H→ℓℓγ decay with the ATLAS detector

Europe/Warsaw
Description

Abstract:

ATLAS and CMS experiments at the LHC are currently hunting for rare Higgs boson decays. Decays to two leptons and a photon can probe exotic couplings, as well as provide handles on CP properties of the Higgs boson. In the ATLAS analysis presented here we focus on events with low dilepton invariant mass (below 30 GeV), which are dominated by a virtual photon exchange. The main experimental challenge is the small opening angle between the two leptons.
