Abstract:
The early stage of the dynamics in relativistic nuclear collisions is expected to follow a far from equilibrium evolution. Kinetic equations in the transverse plane are often used at early times, before the hydrodynamic regime sets in. I will present solutions of simplified kinetic equations without the assumption of Bjorken invariance, to illustrate the effects of the dynamical interplay of the effective transverse and longitudinal pressures.
